Remediation Briefs

When Location Pulse detects a significant problem at a location, it can generate a remediation brief - a structured document that outlines the issue and recommends content actions to address it.

Brief structure

Each remediation brief contains:

  • Problem summary - what was detected and at which location(s)
  • Impact assessment - severity level and potential business impact
  • Evidence - specific reviews, AI responses, or signals that triggered the brief
  • Recommended actions - specific content pieces or updates to address the problem
  • Target keywords - suggested search terms to target with remediation content

Brief statuses

StatusMeaning
pending_reviewNewly generated, waiting for strategist review
pending_calendar_reviewApproved by strategist, available for Content Calendar Engine

Integration with Content Calendar

When the Content Calendar Engine is active, briefs with status pending_calendar_review appear as high-priority inputs during calendar synthesis. The convergence score for these items gets a significant boost since they're backed by real detected problems.

Generating briefs

Briefs can be generated in two ways:

  • Manual trigger - click "Generate Brief" on any location with a yellow or red health score
  • Automatic (Professional and Enterprise plans) - briefs are generated automatically when a location drops below configured thresholds
